The city of Punta Arenas is one of the largest in Patagonia and having been built around the port, it historically attracted a great many European immigrants to its shores and sheep-breeding resources. Go back in time, walking around Punta Arenas’ cemetery; its beautiful gardens bring elegance to the tombs of many historical figures of the area. If you like shopping, the well-equipped duty free area is the ideal location to get souvenirs from your trip.
